Upcoming Projects

We’re excited to share that we’re planning our next group trip to Belize for the end of February 2027!

There is a lot we hope to accomplish on this upcoming trip, and we’re excited to share what we have planned and how you can be part of it!

1. Our Mission in Flowers Bank

During our last group trip in March, we had the opportunity to visit a children’s home in Flowers Bank. The children and the needs we saw there have stayed with us long after returning home. We’ve continued to think about them and feel called to find ways to come alongside the home and offer a helping hand.

One of the most pressing needs is at the boys’ house on the property. The foundation is settling significantly and needs repairs. We hope to raise funds to help cover the cost of materials and labor so that the necessary repairs can be made and the home can continue to provide a safe place for the boys who live there. You can see part of the house pictured below, behind the basketball courts where we were able to spend some time with these boys back in March.

2. Establishing a Build Up Belize Home Base

On our last trip, we began building a small cabin in Burrell Boom that will serve as a home base for Build Up Belize during future trips and projects. We made great progress, but the cabin wasn't quite finished before we left and it has been sitting unfinished for several months.

One of our goals for February is to get back to work and move the cabin closer to completion! Having a dedicated home base will be a valuable resource for our nonprofit, helping us support future projects and make our trips more effective.

We also hope to begin working toward another important long-term goal: purchasing a vehicle to keep in Belize. Having a vehicle available locally would make it easier to transport volunteers, tools, materials, and supplies as we continue serving communities throughout the country.

How You Can Help

There are several ways you can partner with us as we prepare for this trip. We're specifically raising funds for three priorities:

-Repair the boys' house in Flowers Bank

Help provide the funding needed for construction materials and labor to address the settling foundation and make the necessary repairs.

-Complete the Build Up Belize cabin

Help us purchase the remaining materials and cover the costs needed to finish our home base in Belize.

-Purchase a vehicle in Belize

Help us work toward securing a vehicle that will make transporting volunteers, tools, and supplies easier for future projects.

Every contribution helps us move closer to these goals. If you're unable to give financially, sharing our mission with others and keeping our team and the children in your prayers are meaningful ways to support the work as well.
